TAPE Analysis

In groups we looked at a cover page and contents page to a music magazine, ours was KERRANG! When looking at these we used TAPE analysis. This meant we looked at the type of magazine it was, who it's audience was, the purpose and it's effectiveness.

By looking at this it helped us to think about the things that we should include in the magazines that we will be designing and making and things that maybe I personally don't think is a good idea. When looking at this magazine I liked the idea of the column on the left showing what is going to be in the magazine, but I think it looks a little busy so wouldn't put as much on the page.
