Photoshoot planning

My main photoshoot is the most imporant as it is the one that I would need most images for and the one that will be used throughout the magazine. So to make sure that everything was perfect I did a lot of planning for it, not only in the artists and how I want my shoot to be like these ones, as you will see in another post, but everything from costumes, locations and models too.

COSTUMES
I wanted a couple of different outfit ideas, some a little more darker and some more floral and indie style, and these were the ideas I came up with. Luckily my model had a lot of the clothing needed.

SHOOT / LOCATIONS
My original plans for locations and poses that I wanted for my main feature were along the lines of what you can see above. I liked the bohemian, indie style for the artist, along with a little dark twist which I thought suited the style of my magazine. Unfortuinatly, due to the typical British weather things were not as simple as that and therefore things did not go to plan so my sunny, floral shots were a little different to planned but after a few tweaks ended up looking quite good!
